During this trip you ride through amazing berber villages & valleys; you will see various landscapes that will stick in your memory, you will be amazed by mind blowing landscapes, an efficient assistance crew and the legendary Berber hospitality.
Marrakech
15 Minutes Before Event Time
Get out of Marrakech for two days of mountain biking in the Atlas Mountains. You’ll ride past Berber villages and admire the rugged landscape during this experience that gives you the chance to see more of Morocco outside the city.
Transfer from Marrakech to Takerkoust Reservoir and start biking to Ouirgane on mixed paved and unpaved roads through a lot of Berber villages. Spend the night in a guest house.
Mountain bike from Ouirgane up through the beautiful Azzadene valley on singletrack to a dirt road we will take to the village of Tiziane. One section of this climb is a little difficult. Then we will take a dirt road up over the Tizi ousem village where we will spend the night in a guest house.
We will set out towards Imlil village by way of mixed dirt road and paved road. We will spend the night in a guest house in the shadow of the highest mountain in North Africa, Jbel Toubkal.
From Imlil we will cross into the steep Imenane Valley above green terraced fields on a paved road and then at the highest village in the valley, Tachedirt, we will descend by way of dirt road to the village of Tansghart where we will spend the night in a guest house.
We then climb by paved road over to the gorgeous Ourika valley and descend the Ourika valley to Marrakesh
